The Ripped Soul

My plans have gone haywire. My uncle came over today.. brought the strings..

but..

the HEADSTOCK of the guitar broke while he was attempting to fix the strings.

So now?

No guitar. At all.

Sigh.. But at least he said he'll lend me his spare; and he'll only pass it to me NEXT week. URGH. I wanna learn noooow. NOOOOOW. Not next week.

But on a brighter note, Nick said he'll lend me his beginner's guide to playing the guitar. I've been trying to find that book all over the place! From the Swee Lee Factory near my house, to the guitar shops in the vicinity, to Kinokuniya ALL the way in Bugis. No sign of the damned book. So now. Thanks to Nick. I get to have THE book.

And btw, is anyone .. free or .. patient and willing enough to teach me guitar? Properly? For free? Sigh. All my uncle did was leave me with advice to surf the net and get ideas.. All he'd do is just check me out during Christmas, and see if I'm ready to jam simple carols and/or songs.

So much for lessons..

Well for now, I'm off to bed. Science killer papers tomorrow.. wish me luck.
