Ha! Had some fun bonding last night with my mom and brother. My mom brought me to ikea to see some stuff AND to see the bedroom showroom. So I DEFINETLY wanted to tag along since I wanted a new bedroom. She was pointing out to me the different kinds of kitchens and the ones she dreamed of having. Typical kind of showrooms you'd see on television and such. Tsk. But if I was rich enough, maybe. Just maybe.

THE WHOLE HOUSE WOULD BE IKEA-ISH!

Yeah. Took some pencils from some of the sections as well. Love their pencils. So brown, woodlike and sharpened. Wheee. OH OH OH!!!

I SAW KUMAR WHEN I WAS TAKING THE PENCILS!!!!!

Yup. The KUMAR that we all laugh about on TV? Mediacorp artiste? I saw him. AND he's BLOODY tall! He was shopping there as well. I was like, jaw-dropped kinda thing. HAHAHA. I heard some time back that there's a possibility that he'll be one of the Singapore Idol judges. Dunno if its true or not. Oh well.. My mom was like urging me to go up to him and get him to sign on my white shirt with the pencil. WTF. I didn't, anyway.

Then we got some stuff, jotted down notes, got our hotdogs from the cafe, and went home. At home, we were DEAD beat. But I wanted to watch The Chronicles of Riddick on Star Movies with my brother, so I stayed up. Awesome show. Vin Diesel is just handsome and chunky LAAAA. Love his muscles. Sigh.... Then I watched Whose Line Is It Anyway on Ch5. LOVE THAT COMEDY! So fucking talented, the comedians. They were making fun of Drew Carey and all. HAHAHA. During one of the commercials that were playing, it was the Singapore Idol auditions in Feb 06. Was telling my brother about how all my buddies are asking me to join the auditions. I'm surprised he actually gave me his support.

you see this singapore idol auditions and all? you believe not, my friends asked me to go join you know. crazy right? -me

join la! at least got experience right. my friends all asking me to go join, you know what i tell them? I say i CAN'T, even if i wanted to. You know why? I don't have the potential for it. go malu myself for nothing. so yeah. you should go join. -him

you actually think i have the potential? - me.

you should know wad you're good at right. just go for it lah. go for the experience. -him.

So-un-fucking-believable. He must have been possessed last night. I swear! First time I'm hearing him actually support me. Anyway I still think the auditions are crazy. I'll only join if someone comes with me. HAHAHA. Yes, I'm that much of a wimp. Geez. I mean, c'mon. NATIONAL TELEVISION. ME?! Dancing and singing like I own the stage? It would be the most craziest thing I'd ever have done my whole life.

On another note. Watched Oprah yesterday during lunch.. it was another episode in which she makes other people's wildest dreams come true. And this fat fella had his dreams come true. He actually had Mariah Carey AND Randy Jackson to coach him on his singing before he could perform on her show LIVE on National TV. He's good. For a 12 year old KID! They were saying how he'd always wanted to be a singer since he was born. Other kids would be holding baseball bats and skateboards, but all he ever wanted to hold was a mic. Wow.

I wonder if I ever wanted to hold a mic when I was small.

I only have a memory of singing "Boys II Men - I swear" while standing on my grandmother's furniture as a kid. Together with my two cousins Paul and Dee.

Hmmm.
