mom: ...I told them I can't make it, I'm working.
me: yeah, well.. tell them i said that.
mom: *completely ignoring whatever I said* ...and they invited your brother and C over too.
me: good for them, i don't care.
mom: ..I called C and relayed the message over and she said she can't, she's working too.
me: well, fuck them and all their invites.
mom: ...so I told your uncle that no one's going. Everyone's working.
me: good. with hosts like them, who needs a fucking party invitation? fuck them, their parties and their God damn invites.
