Never been in hell like this, somebody wake me up!

Yesterday was fun, hanging out with the crew.. Didn't know I'd miss them THAT much, e'en after seeing em on MSN and stuff. Tsk.

Anyway, here's what happened, in detail. (:

We met each other online first, before thinking of heading out. You know, its funny. AJ wanted to hang out with Rach, Rach wanted to hang out with me, and I was still in bed when their plans were running all over the place. AJ smsed me to come online, so I did. And coincidentally, Rach came online as well! So we got together in a nice lil chatroom, and she started the topic of heading out, which got everyone excited. I was still sleepy then though, and was still thinking of my guitar lessons going down the damn drain. Sigh.

Anyway, after we decided to go where and do what, I decided to do a lil something to spice up everyone's travel on the way, and came up with a brilliant idea. Everyone meeting up had to be at the lift landing on ground floor of Somerset MRT by 2.50pm, OR ELSE .. they had to get everyone else drinks. If they argued with the time, they'd have to get desserts. And trust me, my idea worked. Rach was all fussed up when she found out that she was the last one to arrive. Hahaha.

I was shocked after I saw AJ when she arrived though. Everything else about her was pretty much the same.. except the fringe. Unlike others who have their fringes down... hers was up like waves! LOL

Anyhoos, everyone arrived.. and we went to.. hmm. Far East Plaza! I wanted to check out my cornrolls and Rach supposedly wanted to get a bikini, so we headed to that area first. Those two were fooling around whilst walking there.. while I got the shock of the day! Just as we were walking along outside the Orchard MRT station, I saw someone familiar. I couldn't make out who it was at first, cos I wasn't wearing my specs, and everyone 10m away from me were total blurs.

But just as I walked past her, and saw that fan-f**king-tastic smile and that pretty skin tone.. I recognized her! It was AISHAH! Christ. I hoped she'd look at me, but this damn salesman caught both her friend and herself, AND blocked me from view. Rah! But thank God for handphones. When I was at the traffic junction crossing over to BORDERS, I smsed her that I saw her. And from her reply, I bet she was just as shocked. :D

So that's about Aishah.

Then we headed over to Far East, I saw that MANGO boutique! But AJ said it wouldn't be nice to mess up the store.. since its all glammy-whammy stuff and all. ITS TOO HIGH CLASS TO BE MESSED UP. Darn. In case you didn't know, AJ and I have this hobby of messing up places? Like for example, there was one time in Esprit and MANGO, [The boutiques down at Raffles City].. I pity the sales asstnts. Cos well.. we messed it up alright. We were picking out shades, wearing hats, messing with belts, wallets, scarfs, ANYTHING! And we were all out on complimenting on the fashion sense. Totally crazy stuff. But we had fun, AND we weren't even chased out of the store. That's the best part. (:

Down at Far East, I was constantly reminding Rach to get us drinks. I'm a meano, I know. But you can't blame me for being thirsty after all that waiting. By the way, I reached Somerset like 2PM on the dot. So that was like 50 mins [and then some] of waiting?! Crazy.

So anyway, being the cheapo she was, she got us regular cokes at Long John Silver's. Better than nothing, I'd say.. though I'd rather have Ice Blended Mocha or Hot choc or Ice Choc or something. [Awww..]

After our lil jokes and tricks and pranks, [like throwing fries at Rach and having AJ steal her food] we went on a lil walk. The babes kept looking at all them pointy, colourfully coloured, crazy patterned, feminine shoes, and those bloody sick looking cardigans and bloody bohemian fashion stuff, but all I kept on the lookout for was shirts, jeans, sneakers, and that bloody BARBER shop that did CORNROLLS.

OH.. and I was also on the lookout for the people dressed in the weirdest styles. Like for example, there was this guy [AJ said he must be under the Nis gang] .... and he was wearing like, CHECKERED PANTS? with a FADED YELLOW AND WHITE STRIPED SHIRT which looked like apparel only grandad would wear? AND he also had PURPLE AND BLACK STRIPED stockings on his arms? Christ.

So much for "streetwear".. If there was a MADHOUSE for fashion sense, I bet the fashion police would have him thrown in right there and then!

Anyway.. in the end, after browsing through shops after shops, Rach decided otherwise on getting her bikini, and instead, eyed on CARDIGANS. Sigh. Then they went looking, and looking and looking. TO NO AVAIL, cos SOMEONE was extremely fussy. Don't blame her.. if I was all out for something, I'd aim for that only and nothing else anyway. So they also went browsing in belt shops and ear stud shops.. And voila! I saw my primary school friend! Hazera Begum. I didn't notice her at first, till I heard AJ say "hi" to someone standing next to her. I only saw her after AJ moved away! She wasn't hard to recognize tho.. still looks the same. Powder all over her face, darn skin tone, that nose and eyes. Haha. SMALL world. First Aishah, now Hazera. Still, we moved on.

I was watching this repeat concert of Westlife that was playing outside the shops when they were walking around. Yes, I was THAT bored. And I was singing that M-I-C-K-E-Y-M-O-U-S-E song whenever I saw a shape of it on whatever apparel. Bags, shirts, bikinis, ear studs.. Haha. YES, I WAS that F**KING BORED. LOL. It was only after they realised I was getting all bored and annoyed, when Rach brought me to this barber shop which did cornrolls.

Thing is, she led us TO the shop, so we were standing like idiots outside, looking at this guy have cornrows done to his hair! None of us dared to enter the shop. LOL Then I saw these bunch of kids in uniform walk past the shop and laugh when they saw the guy. What the hell is wrong with them? Its so f**king cool, but their reaction said otherwise. Rahh.

So anyway, AJ [once again] mustered up her courage, and went in to enquire for me. Ain't she kind? Awww..

Thanks bestie. (:

And guess what? CORNROWS ARE BLOODY $160! MY GOD. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry or say Okay, I'll come back in DEC. SIGHSIGHSIGH.

Then after finding out that piece of devastating news, I looked through their cornrows files. Totally cool stuff. Gave them back their files, AJ thanked the lady, and we were on our way. I know I left the shop with a hell of a load on my shoulders. Those two walked around for a lil while more, before Rach decided on doing something.

MANICURE. At Bugis.

So we headed over there, from Somerset, after saying HELLO to AJ's mom at Paragon. First Rach went to get her nails done, then AJ followed suit. And it was like 1/2 hr for each fella. AND I had to be their.. maid, after they were done. Cos they couldn't touch anything, and Rach's handbag was with me.

The manicurist there could tell I was bored I reckon. She told those morons to ask me to take a seat. But despite her kindness, I don't like her.. for some reason.

After their nails were done, I left, REALLY annoyed. AJ knew, and she was telling me to relax and stuffs. Just hate waiting for long periods in crampy areas, I guess. RAAAHH. And that cornrows thought was killing me. Anyway, we took a trip down to the bazaar at Geylang to grab some Ramly's and Bandung before heading home.

At home, my mom flipped when she found out I didn't use the money to catch a movie but hang out. I got one hell of a scolding. Sigh. Wonder why I tell the truth sometimes.. it just gets me in trouble anyway, just like lying.

So yeah. that's what happened YESTERDAY.

Today, I told my mom about the cornrows, and she flipped AGAIN. When I told her that my brother agreed with me that I should do cornrows, she asked him, and he bailed out on me. Said that he said no such thing, and then he started nagging at me to listen to mom when she says I'll look stupid with it.

So much for siblings. Can I just kill myself?
