The Ripped Soul

Went out with Nazurah today. God, I was so happy just to see her. Like suddenly, the homework pile was like nothing to me, the stresses in my life right now just disappeared.. all just when I saw her. Sweet lil monkey gave me a HUG the moment she spotted me! Ha! How unexpected.. oh well. God knows how much I love my monkeys.

She met up with some of her other buddies there, then yeah. We exchanged gifts and all. So fucking sweet lah, she. She got me my lion pillow! Now she can go hug the monkey pillow I got her 2 years back, and I can hug my Lion pillow to sleeeeep. Hehe. Read her note to me, she's damn sweet. With her oops and roars and all.. crazy laydee. But I like! ((((:

Then yeah. Ria, Brenda, Shermaine, Naz and me left for Raffles City after splitting from Sam and Audrey. Shermaine went into this Mango boutique, and she started saying "Hi, hallo!" to everyone like as if she was bloody well Ms Universe or something. HAHA. Crazy. The rest of us were just teasing each other, the usual.. Then Naz asked me to sing a song, cos she knew I wanted to join Sg Idol.. and yet she didn't have a clue of how I sounded like. I didn't know what to sing to.. so in the boutique, Josh Groban's [but sang by Westlife] You Raise Me Up was playing. So I memorised the chorus of the song, and she said like, "this is my favourite song. I want you to sing it later." So yeah. Had no choice.

After Shermaine left the store, we were heading to BK at the basement level. So I stood close to my monkey and sang to her.

"You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains. You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas. I am strong when I am on your shoulders, you raise me up.. to more than I.. can be....."

And the whole group started cheering me on and asked me to go and join Idol.

Crazy buggers.

Nothing much happened after that.. we went to BK, I hope she understood what I meant by listening to how they acted and how they spoke. She'd finally know how I feel, that kinda thing.

Then Sherm split with her friend who came later, and yeah. The 4 of us left to the Esplanade. Naz wanted her strawberry chocolate... so we had to go get it at Chocz. Lazed around at the rooftop, played around, heard some REALLY bad-sounding guy sing some cantonese song at the outdoor theatre, threw stones at each other, and I got so bored, I put some of the small stones in place to shape it into her nickname - "Naz" .

Hah. Then we wasted some time for awhile before heading back. Saw Nazurah off first, then Ria, then I went home with Brenda as we both took the same bus.

Wanted to hug my monkey goodbye, but somehow she just left to catch her bus and she never looked back.

Oh well..
