OKAY.

So everyone wants to know how was the weekend. It was CRAZY.

Initially Sherlyn had asked me out weeks ago to go out downtown with her since she wanted to buy some stuff. I agreed to follow, since.. well.. I had nothing else on. Then she told me that her parents were in KL and that her brother would be in camp till Monday. Stayover much? I could already think of us lazing on the sofa watching Phineas and Ferb, smoking till the cows came home.

Met her at Centrepoint where she got a few things.

2 boxes of Polaroids - me - "Why are you getting so many?" her - "Can take pictures for fun what!"
Ribs, bacon sticks and sausages - her - "We need to buy food k, cos my house don't have anything to eat." me - "Oh okay."
Sleeping mask - me - "WHY THE FUCK DO WE NEED TO GET THIS?" her - "I heard that it can help you sleep better at night. I couldn't sleep properly the past couple of days." me - "why didn't you tell me earlier... I got tons of these at home." her - "awesome, put it on! JUST TRY IT! Now can you see me? Can you see how many fingers I have here?" me - "You're not supposed to see anything... -_- Sherlyn.."

Sounds perfectly normal or logical, right? Well sort of. Now thinking back, I'm thinking how could I have been such an idiot and let all the clues just fall away.

So we were walking out to some "camera shop" that she wanted to go see near Bencoolen Street. Halfway there she tells me "JESS. I think I've got diarrhea. I need to shit again." Nearest place I could think of was the washroom at Strand Hotel. So we made our way over. Next thing you know, she takes out the sleeping mask and she asks me, "Jess. How much do you trust Rinnie? How much do you trust Joce? How much do you trust me?"

Talk about dramatic.

I got blindfolded anyway and she made me go up the stairs. I kept asking where we're going and that it wasn't funny but she kept laughing. I could see why. Afterwards.

Up a lift and next thing I know I was in a doorway of a hotel room... then Kiji, Wayne and Joce yelled SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus. All that for me and for a surprise birthday party. In advance. Haha. And I was totally surprised. Next thing I know, there was music, chicken and mountain dew! Life couldn't get more perfect. Plus I was surprised by everything. In my head I was expecting Rinnie in the hotel room.. I'd have died if she was. Hahaha.

Then they took out my birthday dress and made me put it on and parade in it. Lyn did my makeup and hair as she always does at Hal. Joce was busy being the paparazzi, and Wayne was busy recording my reactions on camera.

Birthday song, birthday cake and PRESENTS after!

Finally saw the skullcrushers, the Lady Gaga magazine on Cosmo [!!!] aaaaaaaand Kiji got me the Lady Gaga remix CD with the free poster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't scream right now because I'm sick and whenever I make a sound my chest and head hurts, but trust me when I say that I love them all very, very much. Thanks so much guys.

Chewing on cake and suddenly Sherlyn sat on me and.... yup, you guessed it. I had cake on my face and on the inside of my nose. Not once, not twice, but thrice. Revenge is a dish best served cold, though. So the moment I got cream out of my eyes I straight took a small square of cake and shoved it down Joce's pants. Yes. Shoved it down her pants. Right down her ass crack.

Sherlyn was laughing like mad.

Cleaned up, started messing around with the Skullcrushers (by messing around, I mean blasting "are you gonna be my girl?" by Jet and dancing around the hotel room) then attended to Kiji (he was sick), had dinner and went down to the LAN shop. Played "The Passing" on L4D2, which rocked balls. Came back after. Couldn't really sleep. Tried anyway. Woke up at 530am since on my right I could clearly hear 2 people snoring loudly and on my left 2 people were talking in Chinese.

Turned the TV on and Vanilla Twilight was playing. And you're the first person I thought of, since you posted that song on my facebook. And parts of me were tearing down because I haven't heard from you in ages, and I didn't know if I'd been rejected with regards to the status. Or if I'd freaked you out with it. Or if you never wanted to speak to me again because of it.

Took a cold shower and started dancing in the bathroom to Highway to Hell.

Got out and started clearing up little bits of rubbish here and there. Finished yesterday's ribs and the bottle of 100plus. Woke Lyn and Kiji up at 815 so we could all go and have breakfast downstairs.

And at first I thought we were going home.... but no way jose!

We took a bus down to Harbourfront and there was talk about everyone splitting ways after that, so I didn't really care. Then Austin showed up! I miss that boy. Haha.

Next thing you know, I had the blindfold across my eyes, and for EVERY SINGLE TIME I touched it or attempted to adjust it someone would slap my fingers with a wooden fan. WHAT THE FUH.

It was worth the surprise and the wait though.

Because these jokers decided to be CRAZYFUCKINGSWEET and take me to Universal Studios.

So when they finally took it off and when I saw the globe, I was just.. blown away. I was running to everyone and hugging them. Even the guys weren't spared. Haha.

And I really can't tell you how it was like at Universal Studios. The experience is indescribable. You have to go there as a group and you have to TAKE pictures. The movie alleyways, the memorabilia, the movie characters, the castle, the scenery... it's nothing like this world.

I had a lot of fun though. The mummy rollercoaster would be one ride to remember. I was screaming non stop, even at the parts that were not scary. And don't get me started when the ride fucking went backwards.

Took pictures with King Julian, Puss in Boots, a NY Inquirer newsstand, the Madagascar characters, and believe it or not, FUCKING Beetlejuice.

I had so, so, SO much fun.

Even the Monster Rock musical at the end... absolutely brilliant. After watching it, theatrical setting and everything, I told myself it's the little things like that which make you spending 80+ bucks worth the damn money.

Everything's amazing. But above all...

You, my dear. Sherlyn Yoong. The one behind everything, the one that planned it all and made sure things went according to plan, you're amazing. You're my best friend and I love you for everything you did. Running around, planning on facebook, threatening people to go or else, making sure I celebrated a birthday with Joce around before she flies off to Japan.. her presence makes the difference, and I'm happy that some things are understood without being need mentioned.

Thank you all for the lovely surprises and the FUCKING awesome weekend.

It was definitely a start of a 21st to remember.
